#ApexGivesBack and Quarter of Caring

We know how important it is to give back to the communities where our employees live and work. From food drives to golf tournaments, to charity walk/runs and coding events, #apexgivesback is about our employees, consultants, and clients uniting to make a difference.

Our Quarter of Caring expands our support of more local communities and organizations.  Each of our branches coordinate one or more events during the fourth quarter to support their communities. Employees are encouraged to donate and volunteer to support charities important in their community.  Apex provides one day of paid leave time, per employee, per year to participate in philanthropic activities.

We are proud to note we have raised over $1,000,000 for the American Cancer Society (ACS), since we adopted the organization as our corporate philanthropy in 2010.  The ACS was chosen to honor many members of the Apex family of employees, consultants and clients who have been affected by cancer.  For more information on our partnership, listen to our Podcast with the ACS.

Expanding and Enriching the Workforce

Apex is a Year Up Strategic Alliance Partner. As allies, we work to close the opportunity divide by expanding and enriching the workforce with qualified and diverse talent and providing Year Up graduates with career opportunities for entry-level IT positions. Over the last six years, our work and partnership include the successful match and work assignment of over 600 Year Up graduates. Our support of the program includes the following:

  • Job Search, Resume, and Interview Workshops
  • Resume, LinkedIn and Mock Interview Days
  • Career Panels and being Guest Speakers
  • Mentoring Students, Interns, and Connecting with Internship Opportunities
